My locs are gone, my hair is loose. Now what?

My faux frenchbraid

I don't know how to frenchbraid, but I used to basket-weave on my locs all the time. Sunday I put in some medium twists and weaved them together for work this morning. I actually had someone ask me if I could do their hair!

The Salon Twist-out

I got a lot of compliments on this. It was really bittersweet for me, it was so painful getting my hair done, that I couldn't really enjoy the style without thinking of how stupid it was for me not to have just gotten up and left the salon.
